Shipping Document: Verified Gross Mass (VGM) Declaration for Export Containers Notice to Customers
All containers must have declared weights submitted before being loaded onto a ship. This is an international requirement under the Navigation Acts as part of the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS). This notice explains why and how to record the VGM.
Shipping Document: Multimodal Dangerous Goods Form (MO41)
All shipments of hazardous goods must have the shipper or packer complete the MO41 Declaration form prior to booking requests with Shipping Lines. This must include Inner and Outer Packaging types along with Gross and Net weights.
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) must also be lodged in support of this declaration.
