Charter Link Bypasses Shenzhen LCL Delays with AEO-Certified Warehouse

As of May 1st, 2025, the General Administration of Customs (GAC) in China has significantly increased the inspection ratio of LCL shipments due to enhanced controls on special commodities.

This change has led to considerable congestion and delays, particularly at one of Shenzhen’s major bonded warehouses.

There are two key bonded warehouse facilities in Shenzhen:

  • One is used by the majority of consolidators and currently experiencing a high rate of inspections, causing severe delays.
  • The other is JIN YUN DA International Logistics – Utilized exclusively by Charter Link Logistics.

The JIN YUN DA facility holds an AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) certification, which results in a substantially lower inspection rate for shipments helping to maintain efficient LCL export operations. Thanks to this certification, Charter Link shipments through this warehouse are currently unaffected by the widespread delays.

Charter Link Logistics has implemented an AEO-certified warehouse in Shenzhen to mitigate LCL delays. This strategic move enhances freight efficiency and underscores the importance of certified logistics solutions in streamlining supply chains
