Lawson Port Logistics fee increases from Jan 1, 2025
As per Lawson Port’s broadcast on 27/11/2024, regarding increases to wharf and empty park fees.
Since they have received significant cost increases to 5 of the main dehire depots in Melbourne. These 5 empty depots have their own fees excluded from the rest of the other depots.
Hence going forward, please see below the changes to the fees effective as of 01/01/2025.
The following empty park fees excluded from the above are;
- DPW MLP – $155.00
- Medlog – $155.00
- Melbourne Container Park – $155.00
- Port Melbourne Container Park – PMC – $155.00
- Westlink – $155.00
Lawson’s port logistics fee increase, effective January 2025, is expected to add to rising costs in sea freight operations. This adjustment reflects ongoing economic pressures and the need for businesses to adapt to evolving logistics expenses.
